Rosarito, a beach community with sand, dirt, and salty moist air has been considered a town in a third world country, without the technology found in the States or other parts of the world. However, with patience, the town has transitioned out of the third world concept, in part, because it has attracted people who bring their talents, knowledge and technology with them. Patty and Lynn Whiton spent 25 years building a successful business that had its roots in house cleaning and maintenance in Laguna Beach, California. Their “Mom and Pop” care of multi dollar as well as normal homes and offices became a top of the line upholstery and carpet cleaning business. Alfredo, his apprentice, exudes the same excitement with two words. He says, “It’s magic!” He adds, “There’s a big difference between what it is like when we start and what it is like when we finish. Spots and dirt just vanish. Presto….it’s magic!”
Lynn adds, “Seeing a customer happy is rewarding—hearing them say, ‘Wow! That was good!” is worth the effort.
